Keyboard

Applications UIs SHALL include an OSD keyboard in the application UI for End User text input (login, search and other input fields). It is advisable to prevent the input fields to get DOM focus (https://www.w3schools.com/jsref/met_html_focus.asp) to prevent the popup of OSD keyboards that are available on older Smart TVs.

Alternativly there can be two applications versions:

  1. OSD keyboard in the app UI
  2. No keyboard but focus-able input fields
